Royal Repast : Nizam

Nizam, coming from the house of Gitanjali Group, has exquisite jewellery inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the golden period in the history of Indian art, craft and culture during the Mughal, Rajput and Nizam periods. It reflects royalty and evokes the opulence of the bygone era. The Nizam jewellery is crafted in classic gold and set with uncut diamonds and coloured stones. Each jewellery piece is an exclusive one of a kind and has the grandeur to make the wearer feel like a royal princess.

Belonging to the royal family of the Pataudis, Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan are apt as the brand ambassadors for Nizam. This mother-daughter duo reflect the charm and royalty of this brand.

Exquisite range under Nizam:

JADAU: Exquisite creations in 22/24 Carat gold embedded with precious and semi precious stones, gems, crystals and beads. The artistically crafted sets use traditional jewellery forms like jadau and meenakari that were introduced by the Mughals and enhanced with the indigenous skills of Indian craftsmen. Ideal for many traditional and auspicious occasions, like marriages and festival celebrations.

VICTORIAN: Jewellery made on a base of 14 Carat gold embedded with rose cut and uncut diamonds/polkis along with precious and semi-precious stones set in pure silver giving a classical and timeless Victorian look. The oxidized look that the silver develops over time adds to the aesthetics. The uncut diamonds are crafted in ancient Indian style and come with a guarantee of being natural.

ROSE-CUT: Handcrafted 22 Carat gold jewellery bezel set with basic rose cut diamonds. The rose cuts are usually circular with a flat base (no pavilion) and a crown composed of triangular facets (usually 12 or 24) in symmetrical arrangement, which rise to form a point.

KUNDAN: Handcrafted 22 Carat gold jewellery with kundan, a traditional method of gem setting that uses gold foil between the stones and the mount. A popular style that emerged during the Mughal era, the jewellery has precious and semi-precious coloured gemstones with multi-coloured enamelled patterns that lend themselves to detailing and adds an Indian flavour.

The unique stone setting in the product gives it a flavor of designer jewellery and offers the wearer a feeling of fulfillment unexplained beyond the centuries and cultures. So dive back into the regal past and live the opulence through these exquisite jewels from the Nizam collection.
